How To Secure Your Gmail While Online

As compared to other free email providers Gmail has a feature that enables you to encrypt your email sessions. This makes your account less vulnerable to hackers when you use non-secured or public access networks. To enable this feature:

1. Log into your Gmail account
2. Click Settings at the top of the Gmail page
3. On the General tab,locate “Browser connection” at the bottom of the page.
4. Set the Browser Connection to Always use https
5. Reload Gmail
